Welcome to the University of Rhode Island Assistive Technology Laboratory Web Site.

The Assistive Technology lab at the University of Rhode Island is dedicated to teaching students the skills they need to be marketable in the Biomedical Engineering Field and to develop affordable assistive technology devices. The Intership works with Elenor Slator and Zamborono Hospitals to develop devices for severly handicapped individuals. This program also develops devices on an individual basis to help handicapped individuals solve a specific problem.

Please look back for the addition of future projects.
