The final report for the course should be basically a testing manual for your chip. Reports will vary since chips are different, but the following are possible report items.
  • Brief description of the chip
  • Block diagram
  • Schematic
  • Simulation results
  • Pinout diagram
  • Bonding Diagram
  • Step by step testing procedure easily understood by a clue-less test student using only simple equipment.
  • Schematic of the test board including the chip and external components.
    • Documentation is an integral part of design. An error in documentation is just as serious as an error in design, it can make your work worthless.
