icview is ic station running in a read only mode.
Layouts can be viewed but not changed. You can
plot from icview All
completed chips are available for viewing.
Invoking icview
From the unix prompt type,
layout10
Then
login. [Call Mike Tedeschi or Marie Crowley for the password]
Set the DISPLAY variable and invoke ic as shown below.

Viewing Plots
In the ic station Session palette ckick on Open Cell
In the Open Cell window that comes up, click on Navigator
The Cell Navigator window comes up. Click the up arrow twice to
navigate up two levels. Select COMPLETE_CKTS.
Then click the down arrow to navigate down to the COMPLETE_CKTS directory.
In the COMPLETE_CKTS directory select URI_CLASS
Move down into the URI_CLASS directory and select the directory for your
group. Move down to your group and select the layout you want to view.
In figure 1, BGAP in group 1 was selected.
Click OK

The selected cell appears in the Open Cell window as shown below.
Click OK
The layout will appear. Click on Peek Cell in the palette to expand
the cell and see the layers.
You are in ic station read only mode. You can view the layout,
create temporary panels and make plots. Check out
Using Ic Station and Plotting.
To exit, use the pull down menu to select,
File > End Session > Disgard
