Opening: Predoctoral Researcher


 

 

An opening for a Ph.D. research assistantship in the University of Rhode Island, Electrical/Biomedical Engineering is available.

Award: This position is a full research assistantship which will include full tuition waiver and monthly stipend.

Responsibilities : The research assistant will participate in development of advanced EEG signal processing, neural stimulation instrumentation and software.

Primary areas of interest include: (1) digital signal processing of acquired data, (2) mathematical modeling, (3) analog circuit design and signal acquisition, and (4) human experiments. The successful research assistant will join a team of signal processing and hardware design faculty, neurologists, and neuroscientists currently dedicated to this project.

Required qualifications: minimum of M.S. or equivalent degree in, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering or closely related field; course work or research experience (publications a plus) in one of the areas of interest.
