Dr. Daly has done funded research under the sponsorship of the United States Naval Underwater Systems Center, the Army Research Office, and the National Science Foundation; through grants from General Telephone and Electronics Fellowships; with the support of a Transcom Fellowship; under the auspices of Federal Products; and through General Telephone and Electronic's Industrial Undergraduate Research Participation. Among his publications and reports are some that he has co-authored with colleagues and which have been reproduced in such publications as IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, IEEE Journal of Solid State Circuits and the Bell System Technical Journal. He is co-author of the text Analog BiCMOS Design: Practices and Pitfalls. In addition, he has edited a volume entitled Fiber Optics and contributed chapters to two other books with the same title. Prof. Daly has experience teaching at other universities and working in industry. There's more information in his resume.
