Recipient of the Technical Achievement Award of the IEEE Society for Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing and an IEEE Fellow, Dr. Jackson is author of the texts Digital Filters and Signal Processing and Signals, Systems, and Transforms. In addition, some of his forty papers, originally published in the IEEE Transactions on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, in the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, or in the proceedings of the corresponding international conferences, have been reprinted in the following volumes: Digital Signal Processing, Digital Filters and the Fast Fourier Transform, Modern Spectrum Analysis II, and Speech Analysis and Synthesis.
