Native American Advisory Committee
The Native American Advisory Committee has been recently reorganized at URI. Our purpose is to act as advisor to President Carothers on American Indian Issues and concerns. The committee is in the process of setting an agenda. The agenda will include the recruitment and retention of Native American Faculty, Staff and Students at URI, and the enlightenment of all people with respect to Native Culture.
We anticipate some up coming cultural events to be organized, so keep watching this developing site.
We are establishing a Native American list serve for URI. Instructions for joining this discussion will be available shortly.
