Company Projects
The laboratory will help companies with electronic testing problems on a
project-by-project basis. Qualified faculty and students will work on the specific
project(s) defined by the requesting company. The company will be asked to make a
donation to the Laboratory to cover the cost of the project. In essence, the
Laboratory provides a pool of qualified personnel for companies. The undergraduate and
graduate students benefit by the practical experience they gain through their
involvement in the projects. They are potential interns and employees.
The Laboratory for Electronic Testing is most interested in discussing problems
and possible projects. Work can be done at URI or at your site. You
can augment your capabilities with students and professors who are eager to
learn from you.
The cost of the service is the student time at $15/hr plus 20% overhead.
