In this project, MATLAB is programed to analyze and identify the audio tones generated when you push the buttons on your telephone.
Tones representing the digits dialed consist of two sinusoids. A MATLAB filter separates the sinusoids so each frequency can be determined. The period of the sinusoid is found by measuring the time between the zero crossings of the wave.
