Ming Liu, Ph.D., received his BS & MS from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology, China, and his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Mechanical, Industrial and Systems Engineering, University of Rhode Island, USA.

He currently serves as an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Rhode Island. His research interests include: design and control of active prostheses, human motion analysis, robots, nonlinear dynamics, nonlinear time series analysis, and image processing.
