Both projects include hardware design, the writing of control software and communication with a PC. Each lab station is equipped with a PC running Altera's Quartus II design software, a state-of-the art development board (TREX C1 from TerasIC featuring a Cyclone EP1C6Q240C8 FPGA) and the typical lab infrastructure (power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc.).
