Research introductions

Our research is geared toward improving quality of life for each amputee. Currently, our laboratory is working to develop bionic articial legs, design smart prostheses, and to create aerent stimulation for improved walking stability. Current research topics are:

  • Design and development of bionic
    articial legs
  • Development of a neural-machine
interface for control of articial limbs
  • EMG and biomechanical analysis for
    improved lower-limb orthoses
  • Aerent stimulation for improved
    amputee walking stability
