Weiwei Jia is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Rhode Island. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology. His research interests lie in the areas of computer systems, including edge and cloud computing infrastructures, systems virtualization, edge and cloud computing systems for AI, operating systems, memory and storage systems, and systems architecture. He won the NSF CAREER Award and the NSF CRII Award.
